LINDI BESTER

Lindi has been in the hair and makeup industry for 18 years. She started her career as a hairstylist and later her focus shifted to makeup. She has been very active as a makeup and hair educator for 12 years owning and running an internationally accredited makeup academy.

Being originally from South Africa Lindi has worked on productions such as African Fashion Week, South African Music Awards, Miss South Africa, African Fashion Council Gauteng, Married At First Sight and many local celebrities including most recently a book cover for Rolene Strauss Miss World 2014. She has been awarded 4 International Beauty Awards in makeup and presented masterclasses for Kryolan South Africa along with their international pro team. She managed beauty advisor makeup and product training for brands such as YSL and Urban Decay. She has in depth technical knowledge of makeup and hair accompanied by years of mastering her art.

Her passion is working with texture and colour being a multifaceted artist skilled in many genres of makeup. She is a strong visionary with the ability to conceptualise, design, fabricate and apply makeup, face, head, and wardrobe pieces. With her extensive experience as an artist and educator she is highly skilled in working with all skin tones creating beautiful skin work and having the ability to flow through all genres of makeup such as beauty, fashion, conceptual makeup and body-art.
